Does the social network bring happiness in life?

Consider social network as a new channel to explore information on daily basis. It is similar to the old day people had radio, television, newspaper and a coffee shop to talk with others. How much time do we spend on them? What the benefit we get from these media.

It is the channels that we learn from. It also controls the culture of the nation as well. But it seem television, radio and newspaper do have control on it while social network like face book is user control context. So it is depend on the group of people who on those network.

Young generation starts to spend more time on social media, rather than television. Many of them just talking rubbish(useless info) with their friends so this way they would not learn more, but waste time.

Working people would use social network to keep in touch with their old and new friends, they would be able to control them self better than kids. They looking it as a channel for enjoy and relax rather than work.

Some discussions on this blog, mention that social network is noise and clouded. However, the peaceful activities like meditation also advertise on the social network like face book. The middle way meditation retreat also set up facebook group to keep contact with past participant to cheer them up to continue their practice and in this space they can share their inner happiness of the peaceful of mind on facebook.

Therefore, the atmosphere of the social network is really depend on the users. What group you are joining.

It is a well written article my friend and I personally believe that noises and clouds will always be there if the audience feels reluctant to move away from their comfort zone in seeking for the truth. Well what I can say is blaming syndrome and finger pointing will always exist but until to what extend? Does it bring any benefit to any parties?

Sharing is about caring and not destroying someone’s personal life. Yes..its all depend on the users…

  2. I don't see anything wrong with people having discussions about irrelevant, unimportant topics. People need to communicate with others to feel alive and not alone. Despite what older, educated people like us may feel about ourselves we do have conversations about unimportant topics with friends in order to socialize. The important thing is that everyone has their own space and engage in the discussions they want. There are very important issues going in the world today, and it would be nice if people concentrated more on these things, but people will never 100% concentrate only on important things. We are all human.

“If” the discussion is about irrelevant and unimportant topic, don’t you think that it’s just a waste of time Grish? However, this is the power of social networking channels where everyone are able to talk about anything on real time basis where interaction will be on the spot unlike sending email where we are unsure whether the other party has read it or not.
